Wynetta Dewis is the CEO of the Queensland Indigenous Family Violence Legal Service (QIFVLS) and the Chair of First Nations Advocates Against Family Violence (FNAAFV). With over 30 years of experience in social work, community development, and leadership, Wynetta is a passionate advocate for the rights and safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children. She is committed to delivering culturally safe, trauma-informed services to address family violence and promote healing. As a proud Torres Strait Islander woman, Wynetta's leadership drives community-led solutions and amplifies the voices of Indigenous women and children in the fight against violence.
