Chelsea Rolfe

Research Worker

Minjerribah Moorgumpin Elders in Council (MMEIC)

Ngugi woman, Chelsea Rolfe is passionate advocate for the voices of Goori children, and has over 20 years' experience teaching and learning alongside young people and their families – predominantly in the northside community. She has worked in secondary contexts, tertiary spaces, flexischools, and was teacher-director at Koobara Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Kindergarten, where she currently sits on the board. Chelsea works tirelessly at decolonising her own approaches and centering the sovereign ways of being First Nations people in our urban and regional Blak communities. She takes her present role as the Research Worker in Minjerribah Moorgumpin Elders-in-Council's Justice Reinvestment team extremely seriously, where she strives for justice in action, through practices of collective remembering, abolition and love.
