Toni Eyles

Project Officer, Child In Need of Protection Project

North Australian Aboriginal Family Legal Service (NAAFLS)

Toni Eyles is a proud Aboriginal woman from South Australia and a social worker with more than 20 years of experience working in the child protection system.

She is currently working as the project officer on the Child Protection Notification and Referral program for the North Australian Aboriginal Family Legal Service in Northern Territory’s Top End based in the Darwin Office.

For the last 17 years, she has lived and worked in the Northern Territory.

With significant expertise in child protection matters, she could see that the system is broken. She believes that all children should grow up in a safe place where they can stay connected to country, community, and culture.

Toni is excited to part of a team developing a program designed to empower families to lead decision making for their children.
